Workshops & outreach
Katherine Roumanoff runs textile-portrait workshops, extending her artistic research on the representation of the body and self-portraiture — a sensitive approach to textile as a surface of inscription, through which participants explore form, composition, colour and subjectivity.
She also leads theatre classes and workshops, centred on the body on stage, presence and group work.
She is also regularly present at her exhibitions to provide outreach to the public — moments of exchange that foster a sensitive reading of the work and allow the artistic issues to be shared from direct experience of the forms.
